Below are the standard practices done on a typical set. Xtreme Set will complete your project to the level of finish you desire.
- Check foundation for level and squareness.
- Adjust and/or cut lolly columns to proper height.
- Strip boxes – place garbage in dumpster and/or one pile.
- Fasten first to second floors around perimeter.
- On two-story house, identify and drop through mechanical connections.
- Align modules to meet evenly at floor, ceiling, doorway and stairwells.
- Raise roofs, install knee walls, set top flips & or roof panels, lower overhangs, and install collar tie.
- Install Simpson Fasteners where required.
- Tyvek & install gable end panels, reverse gables, dormers, and/or crickets.
- Fasten first floor boxes to sill plate.
- Temporarily fasten lolly columns.
- Install felt paper, ice & water shield, shingles, roof caps.
- Bolt basement marriage wall beams where required by manufacturer.
- Temporarily weather-in house by covering openings with felt, plastic, or builder provided tarps.
- Stack carriers.
